How #1
works

There's no algorithm. No quality score. No SEO tricks. Just one rule: highest bid wins.

The mechanics

Your bid is your rank. S$100 beats S$99. S$2 beats S$1. The board updates in real-time. Whatever you paid is what bought you that spot, nothing more, nothing less.

To take #1, you need to beat the current #1's total by at least S$1. If they're at S$47, you need S$48 or more. Minimum bid anywhere on the board is S$2, whole dollars only.

You can bid with a website or a Google Maps pin. Your hawker stall, your side project, your aunty's tuition center, your aircon uncle's WhatsApp number on a Google Business listing. If it's got a public URL or Maps link, it can rank.

Raising your own bid? Submit the same URL again with a higher total. You only pay the difference. Want to go from S$12 to S$50? You're charged S$38.

Getting outbid

When someone outbids you, you get an email. Not a passive-aggressive "your rank has changed" notification. A proper "you've been outbid" alert. Because getting outbid is not a bug, it's the product.

You can sit there, or you can bid higher. Your call. The board doesn't care. It just shows who paid the most, right now, in descending order.

Founding Citizens

The first 100 active listings get a Founding Citizen number and a gold badge. That number is yours while your listing stays live. Your rank can be stolen—someone can always pay more—but your Founding Citizen place doesn't move.

If your listing gets removed or refunded, later citizens move up. The roll never has gaps. 95 spots left.

Why this exists

Most advertising platforms show you what their algorithm thinks you should see. We show you what people paid to be seen. No machine learning, no engagement optimization, no five-factor quality score engineered to make you think the ranking is fair.

It's not fair. It's honest. S$100 beats S$99, every time. The person willing to pay the most gets #1. Everyone else can see exactly how much they paid. No secrets, no tricks, no "the algorithm decided."

If you want #1, you know the price. It's written right there at the top of the board. Beat it by at least a dollar and the spot is yours.
