Short, because the product is simple

Rank is the bid. Highest total bid is #1. No algorithm, no quality score, no reviews. S$100 beats S$99.
Minimum bid is S$2, whole dollars only. Taking #1 requires at least S$1 more than the current #1's total.
Raising your own bid: submit the same URL with a higher total: you only pay the difference.
Bids are non-refundable. They buy placement, not endorsement, not results, not our respect.
Safe public links only. Illegal, malicious, explicit, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content gets removed without refund. Our board, our call.
Getting outbid is not a bug. It is the business model.
